Torosay Castle, a beautiful Victorian country mansion in which you are made to feel very much at home. Or simply enjoy their splendid gardens, they are very proud of the peaceful Japanese garden here.
Wings Over Mull is just two miles away from us. They have over 40 birds of prey and regular flying displays. Well worth a visit!
You can’t mention Mull without saying something about the abundance of wildife! Let's start with the birds of prey. Mull is the place you are most likely to see Golden Eagles in the whole of Europe, along with White-Tailed Sea Eagles one of the rarest birds in the UK, and you don’t have to look hard to see them! It’s not uncommon to see them flying over Bramble Cottage. The list is endless, Hen Harriers, Peregrine Falcons, Sparrowhawks, Kestrels, Short-Eared Owls, Buzzards. Otters are often seen around the shores, Herons, Oystercatchers, Curlews, Turnstones, and on and on..... The good thing is you don’t have to look too hard to find them. In the winter the wild life comes looking for you!
